The proposed NEXUS 78 WAREHOUSE/TRUCK DEPOT on Rt.309 and Orefield Rd
The NEXUS 78 Warehouse is 547,500 sq. ft. AND has 900 tractor trailers PER DAY entering/exiting Rt. 309 and Orefield Rd. The Orefield Rd access is across the street from Parkland Orefield Middle School, and PSD School Bus entrance. Trucks will take a long time to reach speed climbing the hills, blocking traffic all day long. This will affect our kids school buses and local traffic every day! R
Here is PennDOT's "309 Betterment Project" showing the Rt.309/ Kernsville/ Orefield Rd intersection.
Intersection will be aligned with new turning lanes added. Orefield Rd will NOT be widened at the Warehouse proposed entrance.
NO NEW traffic light will be added on 309 at the Warehouse proposed entrance.
309 will become a parking lot, anytime a truck pulls out of here.

Although Nexus78 Warehouse truck depot was DENIED by the Planning Board and the Board of Supervisors they are now APPEALING the decision in COURT !!
